We are looking for friendly, creative people over the age of 18 to help us build, run and break down the festival. This is a great opportunity for anyone who works or whats to get into stage handling, theater design or event and festival management. We recruit people on a voluntary basis, which means you will not be paid. But you do get a free festival ticket worth £85 and meals thought out your working days. This job is about team work, passion for creativity and commitment. Its not all hard work, there’s lots of partying to be had and great music to see.
The work will start from Tuesday 29th May and finish on Wednesday 6th June 2012. We have shifts before, during and after the festival and shifts will be roughly 4-6 hours long.

The Chapel Stage

Here at the Meadowlands HQ we are very exited to reveal our new bespoke stage for 2012 (The Chapel Stage).

Designed & built by some of our hands-on members of the team, it is currently taking shape in a secret wooded location.

Inspired by the beautiful compact Portuguese chapels found around the world, this petite open-air stage will provide audiences with everything from afternoon acoustic sessions, a 50 strong late-night choir performance to cutting-edge electronica sets.

With the woodland fire structure in close proximity to the Chapel Stage, this really will be the place for some memorable moments at Meadowlands 2012.

Stewards Needed

We are looking for confident, polite and hard working people to steward on a volunteer basis at
Meadowlands Festival during the weekend 1-3 June 2012 (applicants must be over 18).
Duties will include gate marshalling, car park attending and litter picking working 4-6 hours per day.
For your work you’ll get 1 meal a day, free parking, refreshments and a weekend pass to a great festival.

Pop-Up Casino

A full range of table games will be available in the lavish and friendly surroundings of the spacious Pop-Up Casino. All profits from the casino go to children’s charity, ‘The Rockinghorse Appeal’.
All tables are very low stakes (from 10p a bet) so you can experience all the thrill of the casino without breaking the bank or losing your shirt!
Entertainment also includes the in-house DJ’s Just a Couple of Mums, spinning party classics and taking requests every evening, followed by very special guest DJ’s till very late.
