This is just a short post to let you know that we have just finished tidying up after the wonderful, mammoth Meadowlands Festival 2010. We will bring you a full report within the next few days once we have learned how to use our computers again …

So, as a taster of the delights we have to report about, our good friend David Kilkelly from the University of Sussex has supplied us with a few pictures as a sample of what Meadowlands became and what a brilliantly splendid weekend it was …

It’s going to be sunny, it’s going to be fab !!

After the historic victory that Caroline Lucas has achieved for the green party in Brighton it is only fitting that we at Meadowlands are striving  to make this years festival as eco- friendly as we can. Not only will Meadowlands  festival 2010 will be powered entirely by bio-fuel and solar power we are also ensuring that the beautiful landscape and eco-system at Glynde Place remain as undisturbed as possible.

It is also the responsibility of all our festival goers to ensure that the site is respected and cherished for the future, so please try to keep litter to a minimum and use our recycling bins whenever possible .

Due  to an unfortunate late cancellation by JKLMNO we are very pleased to announce that we have managed to secure the most excellent Doll and the Kicks to take over this coveted slot on Saturday night on the Sound Harvest Stage. As those of you who have already had the pleasure of this bands company will know, this is going to be one more highlight in a feast of highlights on Saturday. If you haven’t got a ticket yet, I suggest you get one FAST.
